This 4 gauge wire is great for wiring up your alternative energy system. It is a good choice of wire to use for:

• Making wire connections from the 3-phase bridge rectifier to the battery bank and/or charge controller
• Making wire connections from the charge controller to the diversion load and/or battery bank
• Connecting solar panels to a charge controller and/or battery bank

Don't use wire that is too thin for the application. It is dangerous (fire hazard) and you will lose an enormous amount of power (Watts) in the wire! 4 gauge wire can safely handle 105 amps at continuous duty.
